Approach or Philosophy of Care:

I believe children receive the best care when families feel informed, supported, and comfortable. I take time to listen to parents' concerns and explain conditions and treatment options in clear, easy-to-understand language. My goal is to make sure families leave each visit feeling confident and reassured about their child's care.

I hope to make each child I care for feel safe and relaxed during appointments by using age-appropriate explanations and a gentle, patient approach. I place a strong emphasis on education and prevention, and I hope to empower families with practical guidance they can use at home. I understand that urologic concerns can be stressful, and I am committed to creating a caring environment where families feel supported every step of the way.

Additional Notes:

I am  involved in quality improvement and research initiatives focused on improving pediatric patient and family education. My doctoral project at Florida International University focused on enhancing parent knowledge and confidence in the management of fever in young children through structured educational interventions in the urgent care setting.

I enjoy participating in educational activities and initiatives that support parents and caregivers in understanding common pediatric health concerns. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active, playing sports and continuing to expand my knowledge in pediatric health and wellness.
